Confessions
We are overdue for a catharsis. Humans are drowning in loneliness. We’re dying for connection.
I am offering a project that enables a coming-together from our disparate paths. Do you have something you want to get off your chest, to share, to confess? Please allow me to witness a moment in your life and make a portrait of you while we are together.
The logistic are simple: There are only 2 requirements to participate in this project and the shoots are free of charge:
1. That you will allow me to photograph your portrait and witness and record your confession during a 20-30min photography session to be arranged for a mutually agreeable time/location. I am currently scheduling Confessions throughout the year in both the San Francisco Bay Area and in New York City with occasional jaunts up/down the west coast (LA, Seattle etc.). If you live elsewhere, I am happy to come to you provided we can schedule a few Confessions sessions during the same day - most people bring a small group of friends to join them regardless of whether I travel to meet them!
2. You sign a release via DocuSign prior to the shoot.
Please note, this is a conceptual art project in which the portraits I photograph will be displayed publicly and may be accompanied by their confessions in my ongoing body of work. You will be given the final retouched image(s) for your personal enjoyment.
